SPRING
Spring in the country is a multi-colored season: the blazing colors of the wildflowers, the more delicate hues of the almond and the pear trees, the white of the orange blossoms and the tiny yet abundant flowers of the olive. The vineyards take on a veil of green as the first leaves appear.

This is the season for plowing, turning under the green manure and preparing the fields for the summer vegetables.
