Vegetables, fruit and legumes
We were once well-known for our productin of different seasonable vegetables. Today our vegetable production is destined only to family consumption, although we continue a successful cultivation of winter squashes and watermelons.
Our fruit orchards have expanded, however, and in greater or lesser quantities we harvest: oranges, grapefruit, tangerines and clementines, avocados, persimmons, pears, peaches, table grapes, pomegranates, loquats, plums, figs and other fruit.
We are very dedicated to propagating and foraging wild greens such as borage, chard, mustard, rocket and other brassicas. We also produce small quantities of chickpeas and cicerchie.
